Description & Requirements
We are seeking to recruit dynamic and highly motivated individuals to join our commercial team for our large-scaled projects in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
- Management and mentoring of members of the contractor’s quantity surveying team;
- Review of contract documentations and identification variations;
- Valuation and agreement of variations values;
- Preparation and agreement of interim payment applications;
- Preparation of subcontract procurement enquiry documentation, analysis of tender returns and tender recommendation reports;
- Subcontract commercial administration, from award of subcontracts through to agreement of subcontract final accounts;
- Conduct cost analysis, budgeting control, measurement and collation of records at our construction sites;
- Preparation of claims documentation and handling of all claims related issues.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction preferably with MRICS or HKIS professional qualification;
- At least 15 years' relevant experience preferably in contractors;
- At least 3 years’ in a supervisory experience, with a proven track record of independently managing a team of quantity surveyors;
- Guaranteed Maximum Price contract experience is advantageous;
- Strong commercial and contractual acumen;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential;
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Quantity Surveyor.
